Saskatchewan Polytechnic raises flag for LGBT youth

Saskatchewan Polytechnic is flying the pride flag at four major campuses

May 29, 2015 - This May and June Saskatchewan Polytechnic will fly the rainbow pride flag at our four main campuses to recognize Pride Week and support our LGBT youth and their allies.

"At Saskatchewan Polytechnic we strive to create a welcoming environment for all students and stand against discrimination. We join others in the province flying the pride flag," says Dr. Larry Rosia, president and CEO.

Pride Week is taking place across Saskatchewan during the months of May and June:

  • Moose Jaw Pride Week: May 24 - 30
  • Prince Albert Pride Week: May 31 - June 6
  • Saskatoon Pride Week: June 7 - 13
  • Regina Pride Week: June 14 - 20

During Pride Week in each city, Saskatchewan Polytechnic will raise the pride flag to support our LGBT students.
