Knowing which wine goes with which food can make a difference to your
selection of wine and menu. Join Wine Representative, Robin Schindel,
for an interactive and entertaining evening where you will learn to pair the
right wine with the right food and thereby enhance your eating pleasure.

informal introduction to wine. This class is for both the beginner and
experienced wine lover. You will take a virtual tour of the wine making
process from vineyard to glass and sample 6 different wines. You will learn
how grapes are grown; how wine is made; and how to properly taste wine. You will also experiment with food components and discover how acidity in wine and acidity in food work together, greatly enhancing the wine experience. This class is an eye opener for anyone who loves to cook.

The Special Events Coordinator position opens many opportunities for a
wide and full use of your creative and administrative skills. You will learn
how to coordinate and implement event plans while fulfilling the business’
marketing plan. This course covers all of the skills, knowledge and attitudes described in the national occupational standards and prepares you to write the professional certification exam.
You may work in your manual (Emerit Tourism Training) but access to facilitator is only available after the class start date; an information letter will be mailed to you after the start date.
