This two-day Writing Audit Reports workshop will focus on creating professional audit reports. Participants wll examine the basics of business reports: setting a purpose, considering the audience, choosing a format and establishing a style. They will also practise strategies for the three stages of the writing process (prewriting, drafting and revising and editing) to help them compose clear and concise audit reports. Practical elements such as the following will be introduced: summarizing, writing concisely, using parallel construction and reviewing proper grammar and punctuation. An audit report template will also be made available as an example. Writing skills will improve through completing practical exercises and by receiving feedback from the instructor and peers. Each workshop participant will also create an audit report that will be critiqued by the instructor.

Business Report Writing is an interactive workshop concentrating on creating professional formal and informal business reports. You will work through the writing process for report writing using CP (Canadian Press) writing style.
