Regulations require air conditioning and refrigeration technicians to obtain
a numbered certificate to buy refrigerants. You will examine recovery
procedures for CFCs and review environmental concerns such as acid rain
and ozone layer depletion due to the release of CFCs into the atmosphere. Automotive, commercial and domestic refrigeration/air conditioning systems will also be covered.
