Testing Services supports approved testing and assessments for Saskatchewan Polytechnic programs and select external testing organizations. If you’re a prospective or current student, a member of the public or completing an exam for an employer, we provide secure, consistent and accessible exam delivery through Test Centres located in each Sask Polytech campus city.
If you’ve been asked to write an exam or assessment at Sask Polytech, this page will help you understand whether Testing Services is involved and guide you to the right next steps.
Assessments and exams
Some exams are booked directly through the Test Centre booking platform, while others follow exam‑specific or external booking processes. How you book a test depends on the type of assessment you are completing. Each section below walks you through the process.
If your exam or assessment does not fall into one of the categories below, it may be coordinated outside of Testing Services.
Once registered, if accommodations cannot be provided in the classroom, submit your exam booking request through Accommodate, not the Test Centre booking platform.
Admissions and placement testing
Some applicants and students need to complete various assessments as part of admissions, placement or program entry. If you need to complete an assessment, booking instructions will be sent to you as part of the application, admission or enrolment process. Follow the assessment notice instructions to book your exam.
